TATTOO SLEEVES

Obviously tattoo sleeves can take on the shape of just about anything and this particular one takes on one of the most popular shapes in the world today. The shape that stands for freedom in America, something we still actually have here, but don’t blink. Yes, this shape is that of Lady Liberty from the Statue of Liberty. Granted that in this tattoo the Lady Liberty looks something like she has been on male steroids for a while and also looks like she a little upset about things. Just look at here, she’s scowling to say the least.
This is a pretty cool tattoo as far as tattoo sleeves go and I like this tattoo, I just can’t actually figure it out. I don’t know if the face of the tattoo statue is hard and mean for a meaning or if this was just not done well as a piece of artwork. Because you never know which one it might be. But it is hard for me to imagine that this Lady Liberty looks like the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard Of Oz by mistake. I just don’t see that happening by accident, but maybe it did here. Tattoo sleeves, you just don’t know about them.

This sleeve tattoo is a very complicated and involved design. This particular sleeve tattoo involves a Chinese dragon motif but if your considering getting a sleeve done you have a lot of different options available to you. Let’s talk about a few sleeve tattoo designs, shall we? I think that today I’m going to discuss three of the less popular designs. Everybody talks about Celtic or tribal sleeve tattoos but let’s think about using other design elements like flowers and Japanese tattoo designs. There are many different floral patterns and can easily be adapted to the full sleeve tattoo. These are typically more delicate feminine nature but don’t necessarily have to be. Try incorporating a thorny rose or dragon lily into your design and see just how masculine floral tattoo sleeves really can be. Now let’s talk about Japanese tattoo sleeves. The Japanese have a long history of tattooing and theme of the designs of koi fish, samurai, and cherry blossoms can often be interwoven to a very beautiful full sleeve tattoo. You can even take the Chinese dragon sleeve picture here and put it on it’s ear by incorporating a Japanese Dragon. Let your imagination be your guide.
